If it takes offending someone to get them to quit smoking, then why not do it? Smoking kills and everyone knows it. It may take years, but you can guarantee that if you continue to smoke, your death will be smoking related. Only very young kids may ask, “Why does smoking kill people?” Everyone old enough to know better knows why smoking kills. But do you really and truly know how smoking does kill people? It all has to do with the poisonous carcinogenic fumes that are emitted when you smoke. Those along with other toxins are the culprits. And since this smoke is released so that others could smell it, you can easily say that smoke inhalation kills and it is how second hand smoke can kill you. These days, you don’t even have to take a puff! Other people who gladly are killing themselves with smoke don’t always stop to think that they are potentially killing other people as well. Not only that but did you know that second hand smoking is killing pets too? They are living, breathing creatures that are just as susceptible as humans are to cancer causing agents. You want to know how smoking can kill you. Just take a look at the various materials you can find through your doctor and on the internet. If you go the internet route, you will find all sorts of graphic pictures that accurately depict why smoking kills. Black lungs, amputated limbs and surgery scars from where cancerous tumors had to be removed. Smoking and how it kills can be relayed without words quite easily. By kicking the habit, you are not only going to breathe easier, but you can reverse some of the damage you caused by smoking. However, you will not be able to totally eradicate its effects. Smoking kills even years after you have quit. So while smoking does not kill all people, it still packs quite a wallop on those who have ever done it.
